Playing a mix of classic covers and home grown originals, The Local Farmers Union is a Veggie Folk Rock band, based in Freeville, NY. They play a mix of classic covers with some home grown originals mixed in. The band ranges from a trio to a quintet depending on the show and venue. The core band members consist of Farmer Bobcat (guitar, mandolin, and vocals) & Chef Elias (percussion and vocals). With a healthy dose of jamming and harmonies, the band typically includes some accompaniment featuring a variation of bass, keys, sax, trumpet, female vocals, and sometimes even more guitar.

Bobcat and Elias have been the core of the Union for almost a decade now! In addition to playing with a rotating cast of characters, they sometime perform a more intimate set as a duo, featuring some deep cut originals pairs with some surprise covers.
